Celebrating 50 Years Serving Chicago · 1976 – 2026
New · Event & Production Rush

The show can’t wait. Neither do we.

A lens, a cable, a costume piece, a script revision. A dead booth monitor, the brochures left at the office. Comet drivers pick it up from the rental house, the supplier or your office and run it to your set or your show, now.

How it works

We do the driving. You get the report.

1

Call or get a price online

Pickup, drop-off and how fast. A Comet dispatcher answers, day or night.

2

We run it

Priority service sends the next driver straight there. Cars, SUVs and vans for bigger pieces.

3

It reaches your team

On set to the production contact. At trade shows, to your team at the hall entrance.

Trade shows, the honest way: convention halls control who goes on the floor and the docks. At McCormick Place, items you can carry or move on a hand truck can come in through the front of the hall, so we meet your team at the hall entrance. Big freight goes through the show’s official contractor.

Questions

How fast can you get there?

Priority runs go out with the next available driver. Call (312) 786-2288 and dispatch will give you an honest time.

Do you deliver to the booth?

We bring it to your team at the hall entrance. Convention halls limit who can work on the floor, so someone from your team meets the driver.

Can you carry big pieces?

Cars, SUVs and vans cover most rental gear and booth parts. Crated freight goes through the show’s official contractor.

Do you work nights and weekends?

Yes. Productions don’t keep office hours and neither does Comet dispatch.

More little things we do

Same Comet drivers, same 50 years in Chicago. Attorneys, property managers and small businesses use these too.
